Beware Disembodied Phenonmenas! (BDP!) is a puppet-cabaret comprised of three poetic fables of a dark and whimsical nature as performed by your most humble fabulist, Geppetta.
Each fable is a microcosmic experiment that seeks to confront modern developments of xenophobia in our society and culture, which is to say the performance examines three disembodied phenomenas so as to better understand greater full-bodied plagues such as power, fear, isolation, and violence. Through fantastical ardor and moralistic vigor, the fables that comprise BDP! seek to be both playful, poignant, and a tinge disturbing. To date, excerpts have been performed across the country and have been exhibited through the Let's Make a Ruckus Festival, Blood From a Turnip Late Night Cabaret, the Heels on Wheels Glitter Roadshow, and numerous puppet slams. |

THE QUEEN OF ALL THINGS
LOST AND FORGOTTEN "There was a young girl with green eyes and serpentine black hair. Aside from these features, she was a perfect monster, as in a creature ever-bending to the fearful will of collective imagination..."
