 The Femme Show is a Boston-based queer performance group that has been active for 5 years! The past few summers, the group has hit the road to visit cities around the Northeast featuring performers from Boston, New York, and Philly.

Please come out to LEMONADE: A SWEATY SUMMER SHOWCASE this Sunday July 17th 6:30 at The Rotunda (4014 Walnut, behind the movie theater). The performance is only $3-5, proceeds benefit the artists and Queers Against Prisons Philadelphia!
LEMONADE features the soulful indie blues of BELL"S ROAR, the jazzy folk of LIZ AND THE LOST BOYS, and haunting experimental folk project - A STICK AND A STONE  plus performances by the ever fabulous DAMIEN LUXE, the gritty/ glittery narratives of HEATHER ACS, and the whimsical fervor of GEPPETTA.
Plus real-life Lemonade will be on hand to quench your literal thirst as opposed to your artistic thirst for unique and poignant performances!

 
 
  Above is a collaboration between filmmaker Wren Warner and Geppetta featuring the music of a stick and a stone. A live version of this piece will be performed at LEMONADE: A Sweaty Summer Showcase.

My dear, sweet friend Heather Acs will be performing excerpts from new and older work as part of Fame & Shame in the Lower East Side sponsored by the Department of Transformation July 7th with Jazzmen Lee Johnson and 8th with Geppetta at the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural and Educational Center ( 107 Suffolk Street) and July 9th at  Le Petit Versailles Garden (346 East Houston) featuring Jazzmen Lee Johnson and Geppetta. Please come out for what will be a very magical event!
