The Pop Up Museum of Queer History is  on display at the William Way Center in Philadelphia until May 19th!
The ragdoll puppet from lili longed to feel her insides is on exhibit. The short film and visual art was inspired by Lili Elbe, a Danish painter and trans woman who lived during the early 20th century. She underwent some of the first and very experimental gender reassignment surgeries. Her last surgery ( a uterus transplant) eventually led to her death.

Last Thursday I trekked up to Colby-Sawyer College in New London, NH to do a puppetry workshop sponsored by Safe Zones. After a brief history of puppetry as a tool for creative resistance, we assembled our own puppets from cardboard, fabric, hot glue, and glitter. All the puppets were creepy and magical. Needless to say I was impressed.
If you or your group or organization are interested in a workshop please contact me at stitchingtentacles@gmail.com
